Welcome to WhatLabel! We are pleased to offer an Affiliate program with great commission rates and 90 day cookies

We think this will be perfect for advocates who speak about Mental Health via social media, websites, blogs/vblogs. As part of our affiliate program, you will also be able to purchase our clothing at substantial discounts.

Instead of spending all our budget on social media marketing with models who have nothing to do with our brand, We want to reward our supporters and customers instead by offering exclusive discounts to purchase our products while offering one of the only affiliate programs in the UK to be solely dedicated to mental health that offers a 15% commission on every purchase.

There are no purchase or minimum followers required to become an affiliate! and we also accept blogs, websites aswell as businesses and organisations with a passion for mental health. We want to build a group of amazing people who believe in our brand so we can use clothing as a canvas and end the stigma around mental health.

The most important factor we look for in an Affiliate is the quality of your content via social media/blogs/personal websites. We are all about diversity, we don’t care if your size 2 or size 32, disabled, or abled, green, black, white and yellow or brown, elderly or young. We are not a brand for one type of person, we dont care what you look like, all we ask is you know how to take a good photo. We love to hear your mental health experiences and encourage all to include in their affiliate advertising.

Our program is open to all, however we do not allow affiliates to promote our products on illegal / religious / political / pornographic / Gambling websites.

Tricks and tips to keep in mind when taking photos:

  • Make sure you are using a high resolution camera or phone. If you taking photos on your old iphone 4s for example dont expect great quality. You dont need a 2k DSLR camera to take a good photo!

  • Selfies can be great for personal use, but we would rather see you properly in the photo so graphics are not covered, instead, why not use a timer or have someone help you with the shot.

  • Choose your light carefully. Natural light is always best so we can see the details of your face and the apparel.

  • Lose the filters! Most of the time, filters dont look great, and we would rather see the real you. We dont mind if you enhance the color, contrast etc but we dont want to see bunny ears or filters that blurr or soften the sharpness of your skin.

  • If your going for a flat layout of just products, focus on the contrast of colors, for example dont put dark clothing onto dark backgrounds.

Tips and tricks for better advertising engagement:

  • Go portrait! Landscape is great for banners, but when creating social media ads, portraits is the way to go so you fill up more space on people’s screens.

  • Dont Zoom in so close we cant make out the product, you need the goldilocks zone so we can see the graphics clearly.

  • When possible, please include the price, product details, and your affiliate link to the product so people can go to make their purchase and you get your 10% refferal fee.

  • Please mention that your a whatlabel affiliate and that you get a commission so people are more likely to use your link to help support you.

  • Know you hashtags and make the most of them so that when you post it includes the subject matter of the artwork: think less #apparel and more #mentalhealth #endthesitgma.

  • Once is not enough, try promoting each product a few times to your audience.

  • Why not include your mental health story, if your an advocate or blogger this is the perfect time to include abit about your experiences and why your supporting whatlabel!

About WhatLabel

WhatLabel is a Mental Health clothing and accessories brand based in the UK.

We want to promote wellness and positivity while educating the population at the same time. One of the main issues with mental illness is so many people are scared to speak up or start a conversation with friends and families. As part of our brand, we want to encourage everyone to wear our clothing to break that silence. Not everyone likes to wear clothing with mental health statements so we have created a range of more subtle clothing and accessories with nice patterns and images. This way customers can still support us in our efforts. But not necessarily make it obvious.

One of the essential aspects of Whatlabel is that we donate our profit to worth while front line projects and charities supporting young people, adults and families. We also encourage our customers and supporters to make donations when they can so we can maximise the amount we can raise for our chosen charities.

Our Mission

We want to end the stigma and misunderstandings around mental illness, while becoming a trusted, go to mental health brand that you know and trusted is created by like minded people who get it!

*August 2020 update: We do not like how mental illness is currently being turned into a fashion trend with many Chinese wholesalers jumping on the band wagon and selling cheap knockoff designs that are resold on big name marketplaces. Many of the designs are tacky and stigmating without any thought all for the aim of profit.

*We believe clothing is a great way to raise awareness around mental illness, but only if it is done with the right intentions and designed and treated with respect. We hope instead of people purchasing from unknown sellers selling for a quick profit, you will choose us as a trusted source where we give back the profit to struggling front-line mental health charities.

Our Vision

We want to become an established, recognisable brand that has the power to spark conversation and break the silence around Mental Illness and wellbeing through positive encouraging designs using Apparel, Accessories and Homeware.

Because we recognise how complex, sensitive and stigmatised many of the conditions we are trying to raise awareness about, we continue to refine our clothing and build on our new brand, having already gone through a website and brand refresh for our 1st anniversary.

If you are a regular visitor waiting for what we have next, rest assured we have lots of incoming designs with plans to refine how we categorise clothing taking enthuses away from gender and focus on the messages we are sharing on our clothing.
